Sculptural objects that I fabricate in steel, bronze, or other media may be static or kinetic. Several comprise a series of visual metaphors for human traits. Some refer to the visual essence of certain cultures. Other works are inspired by the natural world, are conceptual, or abstract. (more.)

Some of my pedestal-appropriate sculptures are references to human traits or cultures while others explore physical appearances or abstraction. I work in multiple media and techniques, including casting. One exhibit I participated in focused on micro-monumentals - sculptures size restricted to not more than 2” x 3” x 5” in size. The challenge was coming up with work that could make a statement at that scale rather than look like a miniature. (more.)
The natural world is always integral to my work, as subject matter, emotional support, as a medium, or as a place to site the art. Working outdoors is always an absorbing challenge. (more)
There are various possible evidences of any entity’s existence. The most obvious response from an artist is to paint or sculpt the appearance of the object or scene. However that is not the only way to respond visually to a subject. Others are as conceptual as they are figurative, and these particularly interest me. Among them are shadows, footprints, and driplines. (More.)
