An art movement for social responsibility
In response to current turmoil, I seek to encourage human unity and compassion and so I focus on what all the world's peoples have in common. Among other significant commonalities is that we are residents of the same planet. Every nation, state, and city has a flag as our symbol of cultural significance. Each of our nationalities is also part of a larger additional identity. My planet Earth flag represents the conceptual essence of Earth and is an emblem to recognize our shared home.

About the flag design:
blue = sky and water
green = land white = air and hope egg = life forms, including us The egg balances on its smaller end since life is precarious. The egg is not centered since we are not central to the environment, only a part of it. Land, air, and water are also within the egg because we all contain and depend on these critical elements. Hope is also necessary for survival. |
